Prom is to High School as the Ninth Grade Night Dance is to Junior High. This year, it was Lauren's turn to join her two older sisters as a graduate of junior high and an attender of the dance. It's a big event in every 15-year-old's life, and I got to help be a part of it. A bunch of Lauren's friends were making their own dresses, and since sewing is currently one of my hobbies, I offered to make Lauren's for her. We started out at Jo-Ann's, picking out fabric, followed by many hours of work by me, culminating in a night of magic and excitement for Lauren. We didn't really get any pictures of her the night of, so I made her get ready again a couple nights later for a photo shoot. Clearly, I am NOT a photographer, but Lauren may be a model.
